saturday shopping - superdrug haul

Starting tomorrow, I am officially on a spending ban. I now have everything I could possibly need and I MUST NOT BUY ANY MORE BEAUTY PRODUCTS! Today I went on a bit of a spree in Superdrug so here is a little peek at what I bought:

Maybelline 8-in-1 Dream Fresh BB Cream in Light.
I have heard a lot of good things about this, and had yet to actually try any BB Cream. This has a lovely, light and soft texture, and the SPF 30 is a bonus if you are very fair like me. I have quite a yellow complexion and this tone fits me perfectly, so possibly might not be the best for those who are more pink based. It is good to skin so will be good for long wear everyday use.

NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer
I have been on the look out for some primer for a while, and I must admit, the low price tag of £3.49 is what drew me to NYC, and I was pleasantly surprised! This primer absorbs quickly into the skin so you can apply foundation almost immediately, and is moisturising, but not too oily.

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in Shade 120
I was pleased to find this powder was actually a compact with a mirror and puff included. It leaves skin feeling soft with a matte appearance, and was only £3.99!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Shade 10
This gel concealer has a lovely texture to help hide and cover any blemishes and imperfections, but bearing in mind this was the lightest shade, it does appear a little bit too dark on some areas of my face. This can easily be sorted with the correct shade of powder and/or foundation, but I would personally hope that the very lightest shade would be a little bit lighter! This product was also £3.99

And now onto the real bargains...

MUA Blusher in Shade 1
This wonderful little blusher cost the grand total of £1, and I couldn't be happier with it. This pale rosy pink is well suited for fair shades and creates a lovely healthy glow.

MUA Lipstick in Juicy and Bare
These lovely little lippys were only a pound each, and have a smooth and creamy texture and almost matte finish.
Juicy is my favourite out of the two (on the left), as you can see by the swatches below it is a more natural colour, so will be great for everyday wear. Bare, unlike its name is actually quite a bright colour, with an almost coral hue, making it not as suitable for work days, but is still a fun colour!
[Ring from Accessorize, Nails are 'Action' by Essie]
Obligatory hipster photograph of my coffee - todays was a Grande Almond Soya Latte - Yum!

Have you guys tried any of these products? I'd love to know what you think of them!
