essie haul

Hello lovelies!
First things first, an announcement. Our first ever giveaway ended yesterday, and so now onto the winner!
*drumroll please*
The lovely Amy over at The Little Koala! Yay! Prizes are on their way :)

Today the postman bought me a little Essie haul! I got all of these at FragranceDirect at a hugely reduced price - but that comes with a warning, you may not be able to resist the urge to buy them all! I am now on an official nail polish ban, and must not buy any more until I run out!
Please excuse the not so great picture quality on these shots as I was using my phone and the lighting in my kitchen is TERRIBLE. I cannot wait for summer and long evenings and natural light after 3pm! Anyway.  The colours are -
All Tied Up/ Mojito Madness/ Bikini So Teeny/ Cascade Cool/ Delicacy/ Off The Shoulder
A few swatches - Delicacy/ Bikini So Teeny/ Off The Shoulder/ Action (read more about that one here)
We're In It Together (again read more here) / Mojito Madness / Cascade Cool / All Tied Up
I actually love all of these colours and had a hard time deciding which to wear first! Off The Shoulder, Mojito, Bikini and Cascade are all gorgeous summery shades and wonderfully vibrant, they are a great colour with 2 coats and the texture is beautiful. All tied up has an almost metallic tint to it and is a sort of bronze shade of pink, I think it would make a great evening shade.
Now Delicacy isn't usually a shade I'd go for, I always veer towards the bright and vibrant colours, like the green or the blue, but the swatch on the website tempted me. It looks very white in the picture below but has a subtle pink edge, and a lovely shimmer to it. I layered it up in the picture below so it is quite opaque, but it would be lovely with just one or two coats, especially for everyday wear or work.
I personally am becoming a bit of an Essie addict, the polish itself has a wonderfully smooth texture, an easy to apply brush and they are quick drying and long lasting, what more could you ask for, other than such a gorgeous colour range! What are your thoughts on the brand? Do you have any favourite colours?
