So I may have been neglecting my role as a beauty blogger a little bit. I just get far too distracted by cake! I shall try and make up for this now, with a little review! The Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. The packaging is lovely, a sleek, bronze-y silver tray with an embossed logo. It is actually quite large, but thin so easy to transport.
Now you may have heard me mention before, I always get a little bit intimidated by eye shadows, I just never know where to start. The beauty of this palette is that a) you can't really go wrong, all the shadows are varying shades of neutrals and bronze which all look gorgeous, and b) there are a million tutorials on the internet on how to achieve different looks, which is so helpful! Just google 'Naked 2 Palette Tutorial' and you will be spoilt for choice.
The shades are all warm tones, which I love, as my grey eyes and pale skin end up making my whole face look grey if I'm not careful.
The palette comes with a double ended brush, a fluffy shadow brush and a more dense crease brush, both of which are wonderfully soft and joined on a very classy looking bronze brush.
The fluffy shadow brush...
...and the smaller crease brush
I am really impressed with this palette, and can't wait to try all of the different looks you can create with it! Maybe I will finally master the perfect smokey eye!
Have any of you lovely people tried this palette? What did you think of it?
