Last weekend I went with the family to Devon to the wedding of some family friends. It was a wonderful few days, even if the weather did not play along!
We had lunch at the lovely Riverford Cafe and farm. We were very excited to spot this country haven as my parents get veg box deliveries from this farm!
I had an egg bap, tasty and filling after the drive down! The shop looked lovely, here is their bakery section.
I honestly could not believe this was where we would be staying as we arrived. It looks like something in between a castle and a fairytale! Some of the buildings date back nearly a thousand years! We had dinner in a medieval hall, it was absolutely divine.
Our cosy little room (with one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in!)
View from the window into the courtyard.
Comfy sofas in the reception area.
Onto the most important part: the main event!
The happy couple, and their gorgeous puppy turned bridesmaid.
Wedding car.
Gorgeous flowers decorating the church.
Beautiful hand written place settings. I do love a good pebble!
Cheeky bathroom selfie. Dress is by Minuet, gorgeous formal/work wear for the shorter lady. A lot of it is a little 'mature' for my tastes, but there are some lovely dresses!
A bubbly heart, and a cupcake wedding cake!
Beautiful candle decorations for the evening.
It was an absolutely lovely weekend, and this is such a picture heavy post due to there being so many beautiful things for me to take photos of!
