Hello lovelies!
This week's Nails Of The Day is brought to you by Mavala, which up until now, was a completely new brand to me. I'd heard of them before, but never actually tried them, but I am so pleased that I have! This colour, Cadiz, is from their Pearl range, so I have tried to show you them in direct sunlight to show off the wonderful shimmery sheen the polishes have.
Mavala Mini Colour in Cadiz - £4.50* available at Boots
I love the little bottle, the gold top looks very glamorous, and the small size of the bottle makes it easier to store if you, like me, are a bit of a polish hoarder/addict. Cadiz, this particular shade, is a bronzey coraly red. I'm not normally one to go for red polish, I often steer towards pink shades, or pastels, which I am a big fan of at the moment. This little bottle may well have converted me to red polishes though, as I was so pleased how it looks. It isn't too vibrant a red, and has such a lovely pearlescent shimmer to it, it creates an almost copper metallic effect.
The colour above is shown with two thin coats, though it would have been okay after just one, as this polish has a lovely consistency. It lasted 3 days before the first chip appeared, and so is rather long wearing too. It dried very quickly, which is an added bonus, as I often forget my nails are wet and smudge them very quickly..
I am very impressed with my first little bottle from Mavala, and think this won't be my last!
Have you tried any Mavala products before?
