Hello lovelies!
As a student, I end up travelling around a fair bit. This sounds very exciting, but in reality it is just living between my house, my parent's house, boyfriend's parents house etc and anywhere else I may stay in between. Even one uncomfortable train journey is enough to put me off taking too many things, so I've become rather good at packing only what I need. I thought I'd share with you my weekend away essentials in my makeup bag...
Hair and body:
Bath and body works antibac hand gel/ Body Shop Almond hand cream/ Body Shop Fragrance Mist in Indian Night Jasmine/ Nivea Invisible Deoderant/ Batiste dry shampoo (I can't recommend this one enough, it is perfect for freshening up your hair after long journeys.)
Skincare:
This Sensitive Skin Solution* kit from Green People is a favourite of mine, at home or travelling, but is a perfect to go kit because of its size. Its perfect for skin prone to break outs or general discomfort, as it is free of fragrance and any form of nasties, and is organic which is an added bonus! Green People are rapidly becoming one of my favourite skincare brands, so I recommend you check them out! This kit features a cleanser, moisturiser and eye cream, all of which have a lovely consistency, and the cleanser is fab as it removes even waterproof makeup first time.
Face and base:
Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream/Maybelline Fit Me Powder, No7 Concealer/Benefit Boiing under eye concealer/Topshop Cream Blush in Flush/No7 Eye base/ Essence of Beauty Powder brush/Bobbi Brown concealer brush.
And the rest..
I always carry my current nail polish in case of touch ups, this time it is Mavala's Cadiz*/No7 Extreme Length Mascara/ Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Sepia Ink (+Brush)/ ELF Lipstick in Nicely Nude/ELF Tinted Lip Tint in Pink/ Body Shop Born Lippy in pink berry*/ ELF Eyelash Curlers/ELF Eyebrow Kit in Ash and Nivea Lip butter.
Many of these products are my everyday favourites too, but these are the selection that I just have to take with me when I go somewhere. What are your travelling must haves?
