Hello lovelies!
Now some of you many know that I was born in the USA, which makes me an American. So today, I'd like to wish you all, and any American's especially, a very happy 4th of July!
Sadly it is a rainy and cloudy day in England, and I probably won't get to see any fireworks, so to make up for it, I had a go at a stars and stripes themed cake. There are loads of ideas on Pinterest, so pop over there for inspiration if you want some, though if I'm being honest, mine did turn out as a bit of a 'pinstrosity' (new favourite word?!)! I had a go at using the iMovie app on my iPad to show how I put it all together, so let me know what you think. I apologise for the dog barking in the middle, I couldn't work out how to remove the sound!
It would have worked better had I not been so hasty with the icing. When will I learn to wait for it to cool?!
