You may have heard me mention my love for Nourish's Balance Nutritious Peptide serum before, it has become an integral part of my skincare regime as I just love what it does for my skin. Nourish create products from natural ingredients and adapt them to the needs of different skin types. All of their products feature plant extracts, and you can really tell! All the products I have tried have beautiful fresh scents that leave your skin feeling as if you've stepped into a fruit orchard or a herb garden. This Illuminating Face Shimmer is no different, and does not disappoint!
The Golden Glow Illuminating Face Shimmer does exactly what it says on the tin, and a little bit more! Suitable for all skin types, this products is smooth and moisturising, as well as acting as a highlighting base, and can be used under or over moisturiser, or blended in with foundation. I have been using it as a stand alone product during this recent hot weather spell (I find it's just too hot for makeup!) and have been so pleased with the results. After moisturising, I have been applying this product to my whole face and loving the subtle glow it gives, not shiny or glittery, but just the right amount of shimmer.
The product itself is cream bases and has a golden/yellow based tone to it. I really liked this about it, as my skin has a natural yellow tint to it, and pink based highlighter products I have tried before can stand out too obviously because of this. The product blends in really well with fingers, and is long lasting, I could still see the shimmer at the end of a long work day.
I really love how this product creates such a natural glow, as it gives the illusion that your skin really is that healthy and, well, glowing! This product is perfect for summer as it creates a lovely light base for those days when you don't want to wear a lot of makeup.
