Last weekend I was very kindly invited along to Warwick Folk Festival by my boyfriend and his sister, who was performing over the weekend. Here's what I got up to…
The campsite at sunset.
The boyf and his sister practising for their set.
My makeshift sunshade, we had beautiful weather for the first day, which was sadly replaced with torrential rain by the second!
Festival cooking, nothing beats spaghetti with sausages on a rainy afternoon!
An epic discovery of a stall in the town centre selling gluten, dairy and soya free cakes, which were delicious!! The shop was called When It's Scone It's Gone, and I understand they have a website under construction. I will be looking into this, so more on this to come my dairy free lovelies!
Tunes over breakfast with the boyf and his mumma.
The wonderful Rosie and Loz Hood performing - you can check out Rosie's website here, I'd highly recommend it, she has a stunning voice!
Proud girlfriend moment! My lovely boyfriend is a drummer by trade, and so it was lovely to see him playing some guitar too!
We went out for a little stroll into the town...
…and of course had to swing by my favourite building in the country!
And of course, no folk festival is complete without some epic ceilidh dancing!
A huge thank you to Rosie for inviting me along, I had such a lovely weekend! Have you been to any festivals recently?
