I change my everyday wear makeup fairly regularly, as I just love finding new products and incorporating them into my routine somehow. I thought it might be fun to see how my regular group of products changes by starting a monthly post on my everyday makeup, and see how similar, or different, that may be in a month, two months etc. These products have been the ones I have reached for most often this month, and although I have tried a fair few, these are the ones that I keep coming back to. Since we have been blessed with some gorgeous weather, I have been keeping the base fairly light, and Maybelline's Dream Pure BB Cream has been perfect for that, and combats my oily patches well too. On top of that I have been using No7's Cream Touch Face Powder, which is such a silky soft powder, it is my favourite powder to date. For my cheeks I keep coming back to Laura Geller's Baked Impressions Blush, which you can read more about here. On top of that I use The Body Shop's Radiant Highlighter, which you can read more about in this post. For my eyes I have been using my favourite Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, which for some reason that I am not sure about, I forgot to put in the photo. My favourite everyday shades from this one are Bootycall as a light shimmer and highlight, with Verve, a darker taupe shade, on the lids. I then use MAC's Eye Kohl in Teddy, a shimmery bronze shade on my upper lash line. For my brows I use the lighter shade in ILAH's Semi Permanent Brow Kit. I finish that off with Maybelline's Great Lash, currently, my favourite mascara ever! On the lips I have been loving Maybelline's ColorSensational Lipstick in Kiss Pearl, a gorgeous soft and shimmery pink, topped with Benefit's Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Life on the A List, a mini from a kit called 'Her Name was Glowla'.
I can't wait to see how my everyday makeup changes over the next couple of months! Are there any products you find yourself reaching for again and again?
it looks great!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your blog! I really want the naked 2 palette it looks so good! I have the great lash mascara but I don't find that it volumises my lashes much which is a shame, however it looks amazing on your lashes! Izzy xxx
