Review: Moroccanoil Light Treatment

A little while ago, I picked up this sweet little travel sized bottle of Moroccanoil at the MySalonLooks summer party, which you can read more about here. I had heard a lot about it, and after getting a good whiff of it at the salon, I just couldn't resist giving it a try! I picked up the 'Light' version, as I have fairly fine, coloured hair. My hair has the habit of getting a bit dry and ratty on the ends, but that may have something to do with years of colouring, bleaching, straightening etc.
The first thing I noticed after opening the bottle, and continues to be my favourite thing about this product, is the gorgeous warm, nutty scent. It really smells luxurious, which is a real treat to have with you on your hair all day! The only issue I have with it is that the scent only lasts for about a day, but since I wash my hair fairly often, this isn't really a big problem.
The texture of the product is thicker than I expected, almost gloopy, but this means that a little bit goes a long way. The packaging suggested a blob the size of a £1 coin, but I found this a bit too much for my shoulder length hair, the size of a 5p coin is much more suitable for me, and is enough to be evenly dispersed though all of my hair. Because of this, this miniature sized bottle looks like it is going to last me a long time! I apply it on damp hair, before blowdrying, and the effect is evident from the moment you get the dryer on your hair. It makes my hair feel beautifully silky and smooth, and adds a gorgeous shine to it too!
I have been really impressed with Moroccanoil, as it is one of those products that is truly a pleasure to use, and has such a lovely effect on my hair! Have you tried any Moroccanoil products before?
