Happy Halloween everybody! Pumpkins have become synonymous with today, so I thought it would be a good excuse to dedicate a whole blog post to my favourite orange squash. I have eaten my body weight this month three times over in pies, cakes and various pumpkin filled baked goods, you may have seen my recipe for an easy diy pumpkin pie a little while ago. You can also check out my Pumpkin Carving Tips if you haven't done yours yet! Pumpkin Pie is probably my favourite pumpkin related thing, but there are more, so I thought I'd share a few others! The Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte is a truly wonderful creation, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't spend the whole year waiting for it to arrive in stores (sad I know!). If you haven't yet tried one, you're in for a treat, but I'd be quick about it, as they'll be disappearing soon to make way for the marvellous red cups!
I treated myself to this sweet little Pandora charm a little while ago. I am slowly but surely building a collection of charms with important personal meanings, which I love as it really does make me smile every time my bracelet catches my eye. I realise some people might therefore think sticking a pumpkin on there because I like pumpkins is a little fickle and or weird, but to me it represents Autumn, my favourite time of year and cosy evenings in with loved ones as the nights get longer, all of which make me happy!
Next up is the most gorgeous scented shower and bath gel ever, and also my first ever Philosophy product, which you can read my full review here in case you missed it. I won't go into too much detail, but if you like pumpkins, you'll love this! Finally I have featured some Pocketbacs I picked up recently, made by Bath and Body Works so sadly not available in the UK. I had a collection of Pocketbacs from a trip to the States a while ago which became a handbag staple but inevitably began to run out. Conveniently, I discovered they are so easy to buy on eBay, with absolutely loads of scents to choose from. I of course had to choose these pumpkin scented antibacterial gels, all of which smell amazing. Details of where to get them and a recent eBay haul will be coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
I'll stop going on about pumpkins now as I have hopefully just about got it out of my system! Are you a pumpkin fan? What are you favourite pumpkin related products?
I still haven't tried a Pumpkin Spiced Latte, I think that needs to be my mission for this week! Pumpkin carving is by far my favourite pumpkin related activity, I love how they look when its dark with candles inside :) Your charm is so pretty, I think it's lovely that you have something to remind you of this time of year.

Pumpkins are my favourite vegetable. I can't get enough of those gourdes haha. I can't say I'm a fan of the PSL because all it is is a latte with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. No actual pumpkin :( I'm much rather a soy chai. Mmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI've made a few pumpkin pies and they always surprise people. Sadly too many people think pumpkin is only good for carving and not actually eating. This reminds me. I must actually go buy a pumpkin to cook and freeze for the rest of the year but they are probably sold out :(
I've never tried a pumpkin spiced latte ( not a coffee fan) but I really want to see what all the hype is about!! The pumpkin charm is sooo cute :) I want one! I have the shower gel too, how yummy does it smell!?xxx
ReplyDeleteAh I didn't realise that they did pumpkin spiced lattes. I doubt I'll be able to get to a Starbucks anytime soon though but I guess there's still the Christmas drinks to look forward to!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pumpkin-themed collection you have here :)

I need to join pumpkin addicts anonymous. I love anything pumpkin and have recently been obsessed with pumpkin spice muffins made from a can of pumpkin puree and spice cake box mix. So easy and so delicious.
