Philosophy Homemade Pumpkin Pie Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath - £14
I saw this little gem a little while ago in Boots, and being such a sucker for all things pumpkin, I just couldn't resist! I'd also heard so many good things about Philosophy, I was quite curious to give one of their products a try. The packaging was what initially drew me in, the cute little striped box with the adorable drawing just looked so lovely! There were a number of seasonal products/scents to choose from, I was sorely tempted by a gingerbread cookie scented one, but settled on this as I just can't say no to Pumpkin Pie. I'm so glad I did as the rich, spiced scent is just gorgeous, without being overpowering at all. As a shower gel the scent lingers for ages after use, softening and smoothing as it goes. As a bubble bath, oh how it bubbles, while filling your bathroom with the most perfect autumnal scent, its the sort of thing I could sit and soak in for days if the water doesn't go cold! I haven't yet tried it as a shampoo, but will get back to you on that one. £14 is rather pricey for a shower gel, I used the need for retail therapy as an excuse, but in all fairness you get quite a large bottle for your money, and the sweet packaging doubles as a cute accessory to have out in the bathroom. I think this would make the perfect gift for pumpkin or indeed food lovers, and the newly released Christmas scents would make such lovely stocking fillers or gifts for friends and loved ones!
