My favourite part about Christmas time is fairy lights. I love them all year round, but at this time of year they are everywhere, and everywhere sparkles and shines accordingly. Although the lights in the centre of town are lovely, it was this simple string on the steeple of St Peter's Church that really caught my eye on a walk the other night. At dusk at around 4pm, I took these pictures on a stroll into town after finding myself staring transfixed at the church as I walked past it. The golden lights against the illuminated clock against the purple sky was just truly beautiful, so I was very grateful for having my camera with me.
