A little while ago, the most gorgeous little package arrived for me from
Ringtons Beverages. A division of
Ringtons, they supply wholesale tea, coffee and biscuits to hotels, cafes and businesses, as well as tea addicts who order in bulk.
Ringtons also have an online site for regular orders, as well as a gorgeous selection of gifts, which I'd recommend you take a peek at if you're still stuck for Christmas presents! My gorgeously wrapped up little bundle of samples contained a range of teas, biscuits and even hot chocolate, which I couldn't wait to try out. It's essay season in my house currently, so we're rather busy bees. I took the opportunity for a much needed break and interrupted the boyfriend's productive session with a tray of tea and biscuits for an indoor picnic. [Just an aside, I'm forever referring to my other half as 'the boyfriend' with a nameless face, but today he's getting a proper introduction, so here he is; meet Loz everybody!]
Loz, a connoisseur of tea himself, of course had to go for the Connoisseur's English Breakfast, which smelled absolutely divine the moment the water hit the teabag. I went for an Earl Grey, wonderfully scented and light enough to enjoy without milk. When I saw there were biscuits involved, I automatically got a bit disappointed as I knew I probably wouldn't be able to have them, but to my shock and amazement, not one, but three of the packs were without dairy! I chomped down the Oaty Biscuits, followed by the Ginger Snaps, and I can safely say both were absolutely delicious. Loz assured me that the chocolate chip ones were too!
I've stayed in hotels before where the tea on offer in little packets is barely worth calling tea, so to discover Ringtons in your room must be an absolute delight. I think we've found our new every day tea too, there is no point at all in settling for mediocre tea when you can drink something so full of flavour and generally delicious! Have you tried any products from Ringtons before?
