After a magical day on Sunday with The Body Shop at Fashion Scout, I just couldn't get enough of the fabulous Fashion Week atmosphere, so headed back to London for some more on Monday! A considerably more palatable start than the previous 5am (yikes!), I hopped on a train late morning to get back to Great Queen Street for the afternoon. A bit less hectic than the day before, I attended one show and one presentation.
First up we headed backstage to check out the makeup looks for Marina Hoermanseder, the last show of the day on Monday. A natural look with a flawless base, this look is particularly wearable and easy to create at home, featuring a peachy blush and a subtle glow from the wonderful Radiant Highlighter. You can see the look up close on the gorgeous Bebe Watson, including bouffant hair and a warm toned nude lip.
The final event on Monday was Renli Su, a presentation showcasing the rustic inspired collection of the Chinese designer. Again a particularly natural makeup look, this show featured defined brows and a subtle pink lip that stood out against toned down natural eyes and a warm base with a natural glow. The lip colour was a sweet splash of colour against the very neutral and traditional clothing and fabrics, and this look again is particularly wearable and transferrable to everyday wear.
I loved how both collections featured makeup looks that are so easy to recreate at home, using easily accessible and entirely affordable products. I personally feel very inspired by what I've seen on the catwalk to create new and interesting looks, and the fact that it is purely using makeup I know and love makes it rather wonderful!
