Sunday Thoughts #4

sundaythoughts2302
Happy Sunday everyone! So this week has been a little crazy. And by a little, I mean possibly the most manic, event filled week I've had in a very long time. Conveniently, it was half term so I had a whole week off from my work placement, but it was definitely not a time to relax! I visited London 3 times this week, more than I had this year so far. Twice was for Fashion Week, my first experience of the insane yet mesmerising world of fashion, runways, designers, photographers and backstage madness. I even sat on the front row three times (I'm still girlishly squeaking with excitement when I think about it), something I'd have never ever guessed I would be doing a year ago. I am forever grateful to the lovely people at The Body Shop for bringing me along with them, I feel so, so lucky to have had such a wonderful opportunity!
I also got the chance to attend a cookery class at The Underground Cookery School, which was amazing, so stay tuned for that post coming very soon. Whilst up in London I had a free afternoon and fully intended to go full on tourist and fit in the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and all the usual spots into my trip, but ended up getting completely distracted by the shiny stores of Oxford Street (Forever 21 and Victoria's Secret, I'm holding you responsible!) and spent the afternoon exploring the shops instead, which turned out to be a lovely spot of me time, and the chance to catch my breath during a manic few days.
This week has also seen trips around the south coast with Loz's band, and a lovely blogger brunch at Bill's, which was so lovely to see some old friend's and new faces. It has seen a whole load of photo shoots, I have so many exciting posts coming up that I just can't wait to share with you! Today, thankfully, is free for catching up, working, lesson planning and relaxing before heading back to work/my usually chaotic weeks tomorrow.
I couldn't resist sharing these two pictures of my gorgeous pups that my Dad sent me this morning. I can't wait to have a few days spare to pop back for a visit, but in the mean time will happily settle for some gorgeous, and amusing pictures of their at home grooming session the other day! If you ever wondered what a Border Terrier having their teeth cleaned looks like, then look no further.

Hope you've all had a lovely week, I'd love to hear what you have been up to!
