I recently had a rummage though my beauty stash on a hunt for blogging inspiration, when I realised that some was right in front of me and staring me in the face. I use Origins' GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturiser every single morning, and love it, and had yet to give it a full review. I bought this quite a few months back, when I was on the hunt for a new moisturiser. I tend to struggle with early mornings, I'm really not a big fan of waking up, so when I heard of a moisturiser with energy boosting properties, I had to give it a go. I was fairly sceptical the first time I tried it out (I mean, it's a moisturiser, can it actually have any effect on how you're feeling?), but was really rather pleased with it, and have remained so, and used it every morning since. With a bright, fruity citrus scent, it doesn't exactly wipe away tiredness, but it does to an excellent job in freshening you up! The fragrance is strong enough to have such a lovely brightening effect in the morning, kind of like a fresh glass of orange juice, but without being overpowering in the slightest. As a moisturiser it is perfect for my combination skin, if you have really dry skin it might not be as intensive as you need, but I find it smoothing and softening for both my dry and oilier patches. It's definitely not the cheapest moisturiser on the block, but I personally love it, and will definitely be repurchasing it when it runs out. I'm keen to try the matching GinZing eye cream next, I imagine it would be great for tired and dull patches.
Have you tried this moisturiser before?
