Tanya Burr Nail Polish in Peaches & Cream ℅ eye Candy
Today's 'nails of the day' post is something pretty special. Not only is this little polish an absolutely gorgeous colour that may well be my new go-to natural shade, but it was made by a blogger, and that is something very exciting indeed. Having watched Tanya Burr's videos and read her blog for a long time now, I was very keen to try her brand new lips and nail range, which is now available online and in Superdrug stores. Whether or not you are a fan, the fact that she has gone from making videos at home to designing a beauty line is, to me, pretty darn inspirational! So as a blogger myself, I'd just like to say well done Tanya!
But onto the polish itself… First impressions, I like the bottle. Quite simple and sweet, Tanya's logo and signature heart make cute little touches. When it came to application, I was so impressed. For a polish that looks almost watery in the bottle, on application it was the exact opposite, with a thick and creamy texture that glides onto the nail with a nice wide brush for neat and easy application. For such a pale shade it was fully opaque in two thin coats, and fast drying too. The shade is quite nude and natural but with a lovely warm, peachy tone to it, giving it such a pretty, pink-ish finish, but staying smart enough for those work days when you need neat and natural nails. It lasted 5 days without chipping too, so makes for the perfect nail polish for the working week. At £5.99 a bottle it's not the cheapest on the shelf, but no where near the priciest, and I think it has the colour, opacity and longevity of a far more expensive polish. As you can tell, I really fell in love with this little bottle, so it definitely wont be my last! I've got my eye on 'Little Duck' next, the sweetest minty duck egg blue! Have you tried any polishes from this range yet?
