Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash ℅ The Body Shop
When it comes to skincare, as magical as some high end products can be, sometimes you just need to go back to basics. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I think it's worth investing in skincare products, but for me, things like cleansers should be as simple as possible, and kind and calm in the process. I go through weird patches of my skin being super sensitive, with angry red spots popping up and the idea of putting a funky cleanser on top of my already irritated by makeup skin just fills me with dread. This face wash makes the whole experience a lot less stressful, and does a good job at rescuing the situation and calming my skin down in the process. A super thick and creamy consistency means you only need a small blob to cover your face, I massage it on with my fingers and immediately can feel my skin softening underneath. It also makes it feel much more like a cleanser than just a face wash, it has a much more pleasant effect on my skin than any other face wash I have used before. It has a cooling feeling, perfect after a long day or if your skin is feeling a little angry. Formulated with Vitamin E, it has restorative properties to help get your skin back to it's happy condition. After use my skin feels clean, fresh and moisturised, and it does a great job at removing makeup too, it melts it off quickly, so is great for a quick cleanse before bed when you can't be bothered to do much more. It has a light scent that comes across as freshness rather than a perfumed fragrance, and I find that doesn't bother my skin at all. The tube makes it nice and easy to use even with wet hands if you're mid-cleanse, and I personally love the clean, pale pink packaging, I think it looks quite neat by the sink in the bathroom. If you're looking for affordable skincare that keeps things simple, I'd recommend checking out the whole Vit E range by The Body Shop, all the products I have tried so far have been fantastic (The Moisture Cream and the Face Mist are my favourite)! A lot of them are currently on offer, so make sure you have a look here.
Have you tried any products from this range before?
