Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Whimsical
Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Demure
Don't you just love when something new and lovely pops into your makeup stash? These clever little crayons aren't so new any more though. In fact, they were far newer when I reviewed their matte version a little while back. I got on so well with them, I thought it was time to try out the Lacquer balms, and I'm pleased to say I love them just as much, or possibly a little bit more! Anything with balm in the title for me implies something moisturising and glossy but not necessarily so impressive on the colour front. These pencil's couldn't actually be further from a tinted balm, as they are highly pigmented, glossy sticks, but have managed to retain that magical moisturising property.
I picked up the shades Demure, a nude/natural pale pink, and Whimsical, a gorgeous bright fuchsia pink. They both have a little bit of glitter in them but nothing too wild, and a high gloss shine that lasts even after eating a sandwich. The colour pigment lasts even longer than that too, making these great for everyday wear without having to reapply them too often. I've got my eye on the shades Vivacious and Coquette next! They are currently £2 off, or buy one get one half price in Superdrug if you fancy picking them up!
Have you tried these crayons before? I'd love to hear your thoughts!Labels: beauty, lips, pink, review, revlon
