Staying Organised

journal2 journal1 journal3When you wear many hats, it's important to keep on top of things. Currently, I live life as blog me, student me, teacher me, work me, photographer me, family me, girlfriend me and little old quiet me that likes residing under a duvet, so as you can imagine, things can get busy. I thought I'd share some tips on finding that balance and how I stay organised when there are a million and one things to do.

This little black book you see there contains my entire life at the moment. It's a diary, calendar, journal, blog planner, work book and the holder of many, many lists. I have been searching for years for the perfect diary that suits me well, but sadly to no avail. I then, luckily, came across this video on pinterest, explaining the idea of Bullet Journalling, and it just felt right. I bought a Large Moleskine Soft Cover Squared Journal and got to work making it my own with pictures and a whole bunch of washi tape.

I have pages as calendars that I draw out in advance, combined lists for shopping, general to-dos and blog, and then individual diary style pages for the things to do each day, similar to the Bullet Journal. Take a look at the website to find out a bit more about that. I'm so pleased to have found a system that actually works for me, and I finally feel organised! How do you stay on top of things? I'd love to hear about your system!
