A little while ago, the lovely Lyndsay of FizzyPeaches.com organised a very special evening at Queen Hair & Beauty in the Lanes to showcase the salon and some of their treatments to some local bloggers. I was very kindly invited along and got to try out some of the things they had on offer!
I'd actually been looking for a salon for a little while after my previous favourite closed down, and think Queen might just be the one! The salon is a spacious yet cosy, brightly lit space with gorgeous white furniture and was even fully decked out for Christmas. I was greeted with a glass of wine and led straight to the chairs to have my hair washed (complete with a lovely head massage), and was then shown the magical ways of the bouncy blow dry, a skill that I had not mastered previously to my salon experience, and one I'm sure will be valuable for life. Other lovely bloggers got some amazing styles, one of my favourites being Sophie's curly do complete with hair bow! The salon team were also offering manicures, and I was mesmerised by Lyndsay's amazing sparkly pink gel nails!
It was a really lovely evening, and I'm so pleased to have found such a lovely salon. I'm plucking up the courage to book in for a chop, but if you're looking for somewhere new to try, then I'd recommend trying it out!Labels: brighton, review, salon
