A Reading List

readinglist1 readinglist2 I've set myself a little goal this year to try and get back into reading more. When I was younger, I was an avid reader, usually with multiple books on the go and would plough through as many as I could get my hands on. Sadly being a responsible adult and all that jazz means having less spare time, so I'm setting myself the challenge to free up a few extra moments every day to settle down with a book. I've recently added three to my collection, and so am starting off small and just planning on getting through these three to begin with, so I thought I'd share my mini reading list:

Yes Please, by Amy Poehler
I bought this one in my post christmas sales shopping after developing a bit of a massive fixation with Amy Poehler after getting stuck into Parks and Recreation. I'm now about halfway through this and am absolutely loving it! I'll post a full review when I'm finished, but so far I can definitely recommend it if you're after a feel good, funny and inspiring new book to read.

More Fool Me, by Stephen Fry
This one was a gift from my parents over Christmas. I've always been a fan of Mr Fry, and after reading his fiction books, have wanted to learn a little more about him. More Fool Me is the third instalment of his autobiographies.

Crumb, by Ruby Tandoh
I realise that some people might not think that recipe books have a place on a reading list, but I tend to read mine cover to cover before starting any recipes from inside! I loved Ruby on GBBO and the gorgeous photography of this book really caught my eye in the book shop. Will definitely be feeding back on this one once I've given it a proper read and had a go at some baking!
