Food: Dine In Review

dinein I'm a total sucker for takeaways. I love cooking, but I love getting food delivered to my door even more, especially on super lazy PJ days, or after a busy day when you just want to relax. Doing so regularly though can get pretty unhealthy pretty quickly, especially when you're eating fried food or greasy pizzas regularly. When I heard about a site that will deliver from local restaurants and not just your classic takeaway spots, I was therefore really excited to try it out! DineIn have recently opened up delivery in Brighton, after a previous base in London, specialising in bringing you food from high quality local restaurants. Loz and I gave it a try one evening, and were so excited to see MeatLiquor as one of their options, home to possibly my favourite burgers ever. They also support Coggings & Co, which is on my list to try next, and a range of other restaurants including Italian, Indian and Japanese food. We actually preordered ours in the afternoon while the restaurant was closed, and had it delivered for dinner later in the evening. The site was quick and easy to use and delivery was very prompt when the restaurant opened.  The food itself was fantastic, piping hot and packaged up securely, and even very kindly came with an extra free side. It was a little pricier than your average fish and chips, but totally worth it for the quality of the food, and made such a lovely treat for the end of a busy day! If you're London or Brighton based then I'd definitely recommend checking it out, if you're not, then fingers crossed they'll expand closer to you soon!

*I was very kindly provided with a voucher to try out the service, but as always, my views are honest and entirely my own.
