A little while back I was very kindly invited along to Present In The Laine in Brighton to their First Birthday celebrations. From what I understand, running a shop in this city is a particularly challenging thing to do, but there is absolutely no surprise why this lovely little shop has made it through and is doing so well! Placed on the quirky Gardner Street, it's a sweet little shop that does exactly what it says on the tin and is absolutely perfect for gifts, for others or just for yourself!
It's stocked full of truly lovely things, a range of jewellery, accessories, homeware and art, much of which is Brighton themed and would also make a lovely souvenir if you're visiting for the day! They have so many beautifully brightly coloured things, I particularly loved the shelf of rainbow satchel bags and the table stocked full of shiny trinkets, perfect gifts for that special someone! Whether you're looking for the perfect greeting card, or popping in to find some loveliness to decorate your home (I've got my eye on that Pavilion print personally!), there is something for everyone, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for some shopping!
After a lovely evening browsing the shop, I picked up a little treat for myself in the form of a shiny gold leather purse, which I love so much that I have actually swapped out for my normal wallet, and so pleased I've found something to comfortably store the 300 store cards I carry round every day! They had this one in a few other colours too, but the metallic gold was my favourite! Afterwards myself and some other bloggers at the event popped out for 'mocktails' round the corner, so I couldn't resist sharing a pic!
Next time you're in Brighton, I'd definitely recommend stopping in to Present In The Laine, and having a peek at all of their lovely things! You can also check out their website here.
