A Little Lush Haul

lush lush2 Lush Bath Bombs:

Sometimes the only thing you need after a busy or stressful day is to wind down in the bath. The past few weeks (and the next few to come) have proven to be fairly stressful for me thanks to lots of work and assessments, and most of the time all I want in the evenings is a bit of peace and quiet, and some much needed rest and relaxation. Now while it’s not awful, my bathroom in a shared student house isn’t exactly spa worthy, but with the addition of some fragrance, bubbles and candles, it’s not a million miles away! A little while ago I stopped by Lush to pick up some treats for times like those, and they seem to be doing the trick! I picked up four new (to me, I’m quite a Lush newbie you see!) bath bombs that even in solid form have been adding a luxurious, calming fragrance so far. I’ve only used one so far – check out that Cat In The Hat-esq pink bath from the 'Sex Bomb', which was absolutely gorgeous. I’m excited to try out the other three!

What are your favourite bath bombs from Lush? I'm looking forward to trying out a few more!

  1. I love the look of the May Day one and the fact that it looks like a little badger is adorable! I've heard about it before and how they're doing it to raise money against animal cruelty and it's fab!

  3. Sakura is one of my absolute favourites! Pop it in when you're sat in the bath & the crystals feel like petals falling on you. I actually work in lush, next time you go in get the full tour (might just be the best part of our job)

  5. I need to have another little Lush haul soon before the weather gets warm and I can't have baths. Love these bath bombs, Sex Bomb is just a gorgeous one. My favourite is the Comforter but technically it's a bubble bar x

Sorry your feeling stressed just now Carrie, keep your head up -you will get through it! You can easily end up with a huge collection of these things, I'm all out at the moment which makes me sad come bath time so I need to restock. If your looking for more to try I would definitely try "honey bee" "blackberry bath bomb" and "avobath". The last one is so lovely and relaxing and leaves your skin so soft. And if you want something for lots of bubbles "the comforter" is amazing! xx
