A Mini MAC Haul

I've always been a MAC girl at heart when it comes to makeup, and nothing quite cheers me up as much as the thought of a new lipstick! With my graduation and the prospect of many photographs coming up this week, I thought it was a great excuse to pick up a new shade, and also find a new concealer. I've been using the Collection concealer for years, which I love, but I've been in need of something with a high coverage to keep blemishes and acne scarring hidden, and keep it that way all day! A couple of people recommended the Pro Longwear Concealer so I thought I'd pop in and try it out, and I was really impressed. I went into the store makeup free, was fitted for a shade and tried it on, and came out with a smooth complexion, totally free from red marks and scarring. I was matched to NW20, I was pleased to see there were plenty of options for paler ladies without coming out too yellow. I have been applying it with a fluffy brush directly onto the areas needing coverage and blending out, and it seems to be doing a great job.

I've also been after the perfect nude lippy for a long time now, which you'll know is a bit of a struggle to find the right shade if you're hunting too! The lovely Rosie recommended Honeylove, which on screen looked a little dark, but in real life turned out to be just right! I wanted a warm yet neutral lip look to go with a smokey eye, and this shade is just perfect. I also picked up the Lipglass in Myth to go over the top, which compliments the shade perfectly. It's also my first MAC lipgloss and I really am loving it, the formula is great and not sticky at all, with just the right amount of colour and pigment to it. I can see a few more shades of this going on my shopping list!

Have you bought anything from MAC recently? If you have and have posted about it, do leave a link below as I'd love to take a peek!
