I thought it was about time I featured my favourite beauty product on here. It's the one I rave about all the time, and one I'm building up quite the little stash of! I first heard of Mario Badescu as a brand, and also of this facial spray, on a Jess Lively podcast, recommended by Jen Gotch. Just a little aside there: if you're looking for inspiration or guidance on pretty much anything, I can't recommend Jess's podcasts enough! But anyway, after hearing the recommendation for a soothing, calming facial spray, I thought I'd order one to see what the fuss is about. I very much fell in love with the first spray. It's a gentle spray that is indeed soothing and calming, but for the soul as well as the face. With ingredients proven to aid relaxation and prevent and resolve stress, it's the perfect addition to both beauty and daily routines. I've already got through one, and have since added more to my collection so I can keep one on my desk and one in my handbag at all times. On hot days, it cools you down. At stressful times, a few spritzes over the face gives you a moment to stop and think and collect yourself, while the scent of the rosewater helps transport you somewhere far calmer. It smells absolutely divine, like a summer rose and herb garden, and the scent lingers for a good while after. It's a fantastic beauty product too, it's moisturising and so is great to use straight after cleansing, and is perfect to both set makeup after application, and refresh it later in the day if you've had it on for a while.
After realising quite how much I loved using a facial spray regularly, I've tried out quite a few now, but in my opinion, none even come close. I buy mine on beautybay.com which is always quick and easy.
