I've always know and loved clinique for their skincare. Back in my early teenage years they were the first 'proper' skincare I had to help combat my acne, and I've used the brand in some form or another ever since. Only recently though have I discovered their makeup too - I adore their High Impact Mascara, but that was about all I'd tried until a little while ago. I was invited along to an evening at Boots Brighton with the Clinique team, so I thought I'd share some snaps of what we got up to...
Their gorgeous flower printed blushes really caught my eye, I tried out the shade 'Melon Pop' and was really impressed, a huge amount of pigment and colour for a little blush!
We were given a demonstration on how to contour using their contouring and highlighting chubby sticks. They were actually so quick and easy to use, you draw them on and blend them in!
The gorgeous Lyndsay of Fizzy Peaches mid-contour.
There were some rather lovely treats too!
We were also given a demonstration on an ombre lip using their new Colour Pop lipstick, a really interesting look that sounds a bit scary, but in reality creates an unusual yet wearable look! Clinique also have a new campaign that's running at the moment - called #FaceForward. When you purchase two items (one of which being skincare), you get a free three-step skincare kit! I was kindly given the 'hydration solutions' kit to try out, which I have been so impressed with. It includes some decent sized samples which are great for trying out something new. The Moisture Surge range is great for dry skin and giving a hydration boost, I especially love the eye cream! The campaign is an interesting one too - instead of using beauty models, it features some gorgeous and interesting women which you can read more about here!
So if you're looking to make a Clinique purchase, now is a great time to do it, especially when there are freebies involved! If you're local too, I'd definitely recommend popping into the Brighton Boots as the team are super lovely! Thanks to Clinique for a lovely evening, and for the lovely samples too!

I love the Clinique Cheek Pops! I have one already but these shades look gorgeous! May have to expand my collection! X

ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fantastic event and such a lovely opportunity to test out a few of their products too. I've picked up a few bits from the brand now and I must say, I'm impressed. I definitely need to look into the brand a little more to figure out what to pick up next!
