Lovely Things #22
Saturday morning left me full of the need to get out and go somewhere new, so instead of just daydreaming, I got up and went. I got on a bus with just me and my camera, something I rarely do, and hopped off at a country park and just went for a wander. I thought it would be a good chance to scope out any trees that might be on the turn ready for some autumn pictures. It was also a good opportunity to go somewhere new, which feels like something I rarely do these days. I've become very habitual in going to the same places and doing the same things, so going somewhere entirely new, although a little nerve-wracking when going alone, felt like a really good thing to do.
As it turns out, I just got lost.
And you know what? It was actually rather lovely. When you have no particular place to be, what’s the harm in getting lost every once in a while?
So I challenge you to go and get lost, and see where it takes you. Take a break, go somewhere new, and take some time away from the rest of the world just for you. You never know, you might just feel better for it.
